Instant Echecks is a fairly new deposit method that is offered by many of the online poker sites. Many poker players are asking if the instant echeck deposit method is safe, and rightfully so. I don’t know about you, but I am a little hesitant when it comes to giving my banking information to someone else via the internet. With that being said there are a few different poker sites that accept echecks that I would trust with my banking information. The three sites that I believe are safe for using instant echecks are PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and UB.

Why Are These Sites Safe For Instant Echecks?

The sites listed above are safe for using instant echecks because they have proved over the last year that there is no funny business going on. PokerStars, Full Tilt, and UB are some of the largest poker sites on the internet, and they have little to no incentive to misuse your banking information. They are all multimillion dollar companies, and they make a good amount of money by being able to process instant echeck deposits. They would be extremely foolish to mess that up, as word tends to spread very quickly in the online poker world. I visit a lot of different poker forums, and read a lot of different poker blogs, and I have yet to see any evidence where someone was cheated by an instant echeck deposit. This doesn’t mean that I think that it is safe to use instant echecks everywhere, as it clearly isn’t. I wouldn’t trust a new poker room that has limited capital with my banking information, as there is more of a potential for misuse there. I only trust established brands with my banking information, and that is no different when I make an online poker deposit.

I use instant echecks because there is no fee when doing so, and because the deposit is instantly credited to my poker account. It does take a few days for the money to be removed from my banking account when using echecks, but the poker sites make the money available in my account immediately. They are obviously taking some risk by doing this, as they have no guarantee that the money will be available in my checking account. I appreciate the fact that they offer this deposit method, as many of the online wallets charge me a fee to make a deposit. I don’t like fees very much, and I certainly like to avoid them if there is a sensible way to do so. I believe that instant echeck deposits provide a safe, fee free way of making a deposit to my favorite online poker sites.

How Do I Use Instant Echecks?

Using instant echecks is a very simple process. Assuming that you have already entered your personal details when signing up for the poker site, the only things that you will need to make an echeck deposit are your routing number and checking account number. These numbers are written at the bottom your checkbook, and the poker sites provide you with nice images of where to locate the numbers. After you have entered your information the first time you make an echeck deposit you shouldn’t have to enter it again. The poker sites are more than capable of safely storing your information so that on subsequent deposits the only thing you have to enter is the amount of your deposit.
